P280: Rare Antique Jaques Weighted Club Size St. George Chess Set in Boxwood and Ebony

Fine English club set from the 1840s. King 12.4cms tall. Wonderful quality and patina, clearly a no expense spared set when created.
Black king weighs 4.8ozs, the entire set ~5.5lbs.
