S132: Mid 19th Century English Club Chess set possible by Merrifield

Rosewood and boxwood (great deep patina) kings 10.2cms, knights are very finely carved

The form of this set feels like Calvert but the knights have a strong similarities to those from a Merrifield Philidor set see ref image below (from Freemans Chess Auction Catalog 2002).
